The Tsunami Tank is the MBT of the Army of the Empire of the Rising Sun. Although light and small, it is far more technologically advanced than both the Soviet and Allied standard tanks, and is also amphibious. It's armed with a Yoritomo 8.8cm AP Cannon. The Tsunami tank also has the Kagami Armour that, when triggered, activates an invisible army of nanomachines which sacrifice themselves to repel the next attack against the Tsunami, compensating for it's light armor somewhat.
The Tsunami Tank is a very typical Imperial unit: extremely versatile, fast and agile but lightly armoured. The high rate of fire of the cannon makes up somewhat for the light damage it does, and it is quite possible that the Tsunami Tank does more damage per second than both the Hammer and Guardian....if it lasts that long in battle.
The Tsunami Tank can use it's nanobots, which are usually used to fire it's shells, to form a nanodeflector around the tank. This will temporarily increase the Tsunami Tank defenses against enemy assault. The Tsunami Tank also will repair itself while the Nano Deflectors are engaged.
The Tsunami tank is fully amphibious, so much so that it can also be built in the Empire's floating shipyards as well as their land based vehicle factories.
