In the 80s & 90s the US military had good ideas then threw them out. The new Eurotanks(Russia T14,Germany & France MGCS) will have auto loaders. The MGCS will also have a 130mm cannon. While the DODs idea of a new tank is adding crap to the M1. The A3 won't arrive until sometime after 2030.
